Island in the Sun!

Right off the bat, let me tell you, if you missed last week’s show, you missed ONE OF THE BEST shows we’ve done. It was absolutely hot.

Take a listen here:

We’re off this week … I’m on vacation. Time for a week off in Hilton Head Island, SC, where I plan to totally hermit myself away from the real world.

Well, except for my cell phone. ‘Cause I’m an addict.

COMING UP IN TWO WEEKS!!

We’re launching our first give-away contest!

Let’s talk roommates. If you don’t have a roomie, let’s talk neighbors.

Back in February, I wrote a blog at MySpace about neighbors from hell, which you can find here:

Neighbors from hell!!

On the July 15 edition of “The Show That Never Ends” we’re going to be taking your calls and hearing your horror stories. We’ll pick the best ones from the hour and have a vote-off and the king of the bad roommate is going to get a super-cool prize from the show. The finalists will get a special CD that we’ve put together of “Music from The Show That Never Ends,” which includes our theme music and the favorite songs of Jeff, Ed and me.

But the only way you’re gonna be able to win is if you call us. I’ll make sure to spam everybody through MySpace and here in the coming days!

Topic’s a little up in the air for our July 8 show, but I’m sure we’ll come up with something — even if we have to talk about Ed’s hair.

OH!! DON’T FORGET!!

Our “Rascals in Action” contest is still going, so e-mail us your pictures. Every picture I get … you get a CD. ‘Cause I’ve got a pack of 100 and I need to start using them!

Enjoy the week, boys and girls. I’ll be sure to drink a margarita … or six … for each of you!

Sopranos, Weddings and Rascals (OH MY!)

So, to quickly breakdown our last episode …

First, we can’t thank Karl enough for taking time out of his Sopranos finale party to talk to our listeners about plots, predictions and the life of the show in general. He was SO entertaining and informative. If you missed it, you absolutely have to listen to the download.

We moved on to horrible first wedding dance songs, talked a little about my sister’s wedding and of course, the Roundup.

But wait, there’s more!!

Somewhere, mid-show, I got the bright idea to host a Rascal Picture Contest. The contest, which was inspired by Ed’s witnessing of a head-on Rascal collision in a Wal-Mart coupled with Jacque seeing one roll down National Road in Wheeling with a 40 in its basket, kicks off NOW! So, really, get your cameras ready and send us your pictures. We’ve got prizes!

Give it a listen, guys. You can play it right now through this handy little player we paid a lot of money for.

Next week’s show:

So, you hate the way “The Sopranos” ended? So did 50 percent of all viewers. But the other 50 percent thought it was genius. Either way, that show wasn’t the first to inspire rage when it ended — it was just the most recent. Look to your left, vote, and let’s talk about it. You can click on this link to get to our forms. Oh, and register for the love of toast.

The Show That Never Ends

Thanks for tuning in, and we’ll talk to you next week!

Oh, and vote. And discuss. And stalk Rascals.

Booze + Cake + Uncomfortable Shoes = Boogie Down

From the inspired to the thoroughly unoriginal, take a gander at some of the cheeky first dances that have found their way onto the internets.  We’ll be roasting these during Sunday’s show, but until then, feel free to get your comment on.

Bachin’ It! (Show 9)

Here’s a wrapup of this week’s show …

You men folk? You? That’s right. You.

Some of you are OUT OF CONTROL.

But then again, some of you are perfectly tame when it comes to throwing or attending bachelor parties.

On this show this week, we heard stories of all kinds … from the crazy to the tame, and learned that the reason there’s a co-host here named “Ed” is because he was brave (or crazy) enough to give Jacque his business card when a bachelor party he was at crashed a bachelorette party she was at in Philadelphia.

Jeff taught us the phrase “liquid pyrotechnics” and I know I’ll never look at ping pong ball the same way. Again. Jeff also took us down the road of a friend at a bachelor party who decided to take matters into his own hands. Literally.

Toward the end of the show, Philip hopped on to talk about the world this week, and we got some live team action of Ed’s love of the EZ Pass.

The show’s all here at the link.

You don’t want to miss this one. I promise.

Make sure to join us next week for a wrapup of wedding insanity, a look at the Sopranos finale and who knows what else? You never know what you’re going to get when the three of us start talking.

We’ll definitely see you next week.
